On Wednesday, November 5 at 9:30 am (Central Time), the Tennessee Real Estate Commission (TREC) will hold a hearing on Proposed Changes to TREC Rules. The hearing will be held at Davy Crockett Tower, Room 1-A, 500 James Robertson Parkway, Nashville, TN 37243.
The hearing is open to the public, who may attend in person to offer comments or submit written comments, which will be considered by TREC. Topics included in the proposed Rule changes include:
- Duplicate or confusingly similar Firm Names
- Informal Appearances before the Commission
- Military Applicants
- Termination of Affiliation
- Deposits and Earnest Money
- Advertising
- Commission Earned by Affiliated Licensees
- Electronic Records
- Licensees Who Hold Themselves Out as a Team, Group or Similar Entity Within a Firm
