2019 PRESIDENT-ELECT

Russ Elliott, CCIM, SIOR (Pointe Commercial Real Estate)

I wish to serve in this capacity to ensure Greater Chattanooga REALTORS® embraces all real estate disciplines, including the commercial voice, as well as firms of all sizes, from the locally-owned to the national franchises.

I wish to keep moving Chattanooga forward. I wish to keep Greater Chattanooga REALTORS® as the voice of real estate in Chattanooga. Staying plugged into trends and new opportunities are all things I want to bring to the President-elect position. I want to continue making the world a better place.

I wish to run for the Board to excel my leadership skills and become more involved in the REALTOR® community. As a Board member, I will be dedicated to the Association and tasks at hand. Participation in Greater Chattanooga REALTORS® is important to me, as I am incredibly invested in Chattanooga, the REALTOR® network, and my career as a REALTOR® in Chattanooga. As a “newer” REALTOR®, I’ve spent the past four years learning about the business and actively participating in a variety of committees. I feel that my outlook comes with a new perspective and can be used well within the Board.

I wish to continue my participation and involvement in Greater Chattanooga REALTORS® by becoming a Director on the Board. I have served on many committees since becoming a REALTOR® and have participated in many local, state, and national events. I believe my experience in our industry and my knowledge of issues that currently are facing our members and our clients will be a benefit to the Board, and I feel an obligation to serve at this next level. I appreciate the membership’s consideration of this request, and I am ready if so elected.

I want to continue to contribute to our Association with my time, presence, and influence. Greater Chattanooga REALTORS® has made great strides to expand member involvement and community outreach during my brief tenure of membership. The Chattanooga Area as a community and real estate market is rapidly evolving, and we as an Association must expand our influence as professionals and leaders. I hope to increase significantly our member participation at the local level and, in turn, statewide and nationally.
