Ask any residential REALTOR® and they’ll tell you there’s no one size fits all approach to meeting the needs of clients. Today’s agents fill a variety of roles, needing to know not just the neighborhood, but also local economic conditions.
Join us for this trek into the RPR® Commercial platform, designed specifically to address the interests of residential REALTORS®.
We will look at three common scenarios:
-
A client is moving to town and wants you to find them a commercial property and then a nearby home.
-
A client is looking for a small residential investment property with a specific tenant segment in mind.
-
A client has a trailing spouse and they are asking you about potential employment opportunities.
Even if you can’t make it, sign up anyway and get the recording from RPR.

GCAR's RPAC Trustees invite all members to a Candidate Forum with the Republican* candidates for the office of Hamilton County Assessor of Property:
-
Marty Haynes
-
Sterling Jetton
-
Randy Johnston
Following opening statements from each candidate, members are strongly encouraged to ask questions of the candidates.
*Mark Siedlecki is the Democrat candidate and also was invited to participate in this forum. Regrettably, he is unable to attend due to a prior commitment that cannot be rearranged. In declining the invitation, Mr. Siedlecki stated, “I consider the Realtor’s Association to be a very important group that I want to work with on an ongoing basis once I am elected. Hopefully you will have another Forum, once the Republicans have selected their candidate. I am eager to meet with your members and introduce myself to them so they can make an informed decision of which candidate they want to support. Please let me know if that is something you plan on doing and I will put it on my calendar now.”
GROUND RULES
-
All candidates who have lawfully qualified for their party’s nomination in the March 1, 2016 Hamilton County Primary Election will be invited to participate in the GCAR Candidates Forum.
-
Participants will include the Candidates only. No Campaign Managers, Advisors, or other personnel associated with a campaign will be permitted in the room during the forum.
-
Campaign stickers, buttons or other paraphernalia will not be permitted before or during the forum. Distribution of campaign materials by the Candidates is permitted at the conclusion of the Forum.
-
The Forum will be conducted by 2016 GCAR President, Nathan Walldorf, and 2016 RPAC Trustees Chairman, Travis Close (The CHAIRS). Candidates are asked not to contact either of the CHAIRS prior to the forum.
-
Candidates – at their option – will be permitted to make a timed 3-minute opening statement of their choosing
-
Questioning from the floor will begin immediately thereafter, with the questioners selected alternately by President Walldorf and Chairman Close.
-
The Candidate to whom the question is directed will have 2-minutes to respond, and the remaining Candidates will have 1-minute to respond to the same question, or rebut the original answer. The CHAIRS have the option to grant additional time, if necessary
-
Compound and follow-up questions within the same turn are discouraged, but might be allowed at the discretion of the CHAIRS if it is deemed in their opinion to be in the best interests of the membership to discern the answer.
-
The Forum will conclude 90-minutes after it has begun, and the Candidates will be excused
-
Discussion will take place among those attending, followed by a vote of the RPAC Trustees regarding a definitive statement of endorsement and funding for the chosen Candidate.
