Placemaking

Download the 2023 Placemaking Project Application - DUE July 31, 2023

Greater Chattanooga REALTORS® Placemaking Projects transform underutilized and blighted spaces into safer, vibrant, and active public places for Chattanooga and Hamilton County.

We seek projects that are functional, safe, and attractive to the local community. This is your opportunity to redesign spaces for your community and enhance its beauty!

Applications must demonstrate your proposed project will address a specific need/problem in the community, has community support, and is creative.

Our focus is on projects which can be built in under a year and cost less than $25,000.

The selected project teams must be willing to commit to working with Greater Chattanooga REALTORS® to engage their communities, design, and implement the project.

It is essential that if your project is selected, Greater Chattanooga REALTORS® can rely on you to assist in communicating project details to the community. We will collaborate with you every step of the way to provide the resources needed to ensure the project is successful.

Be creative and have fun! Any number of ideas can be considered. Think of how small improvements can make tremendous changes. We look forward to collaborating with you to creatively improve our community! We're working to transform Chattanooga/Hamilton County’s underutilized and blighted spaces into safer, vibrant, and active public places, and providing applicants with the opportunity to suggest creative projects that are functional, safe, and attractive to the local community. This is your opportunity to redesign spaces for your community and enhance its beauty!
