A Bright Start to 2026

I often say to clients, “Every move should feel like a new sunrise.” As I prepare to take the reins and welcome 2026, this phrase has taken on a broader meaning, one that reaches far beyond a buyer stepping into a new home. M-O-V-E. Four letters that make such an impact. By moving, we evolve to set a clear direction and take visible steps (large or small) to make a meaningful difference for our members and the public we serve. When we move, we show up, energize, connect with others, and adapt proactively to change.

I am excited to begin a new chapter with the leadership team of Greater Chattanooga Realtors. Our focus is clear...to serve the public and support Realtors with reliable information, strong education, and steady advocacy. Our leadership team is ready to carry that message and our work forward with optimism and practical results.

I would like to thank Immediate Past President Ellis Gardner and his Board of Directors for their thoughtful leadership in 2025. Their commitment set a strong foundation for the year ahead. Leadership is a team effort, and our officers, directors, committee chairs, and staff are ready to serve our members and community with professionalism and heart. We will build on the lessons of those who led before us as we continue moving forward - together.

We will continue to show up for our community. We plan to continue the Scholarship program to provide financial support to local students pursuing trade school or a college degree. We are committed to investing in Placemaking projects that make public spaces safer and more welcoming. We are set to rally support through Snack Pack Madness, our annual fundraiser that provides weekend food packs for food-insecure students. We also encourage community engagement in bringing our members and partners together for Tee Up and Wine Down to support Habitat for Humanity.

Connection matters. We intend to carry forward the tradition of Coffee & Connection so members can learn, ask questions, get to know their peers, and collaborate to make our market work. From these morning meet-ups, expect clear conversations, practical takeaways, and a friendly space to build relationships across our city.

Our voice will be present where decisions are made. In 2026, we will continue to engage city, county, and state partners to promote housing access and protect property rights, so families can make confident choices and communities can grow in healthy, sustainable ways.

We are also launching a focused effort on member wellness. Healthy professionals serve the public better. Our members can expect to see programs that support mental health, financial planning, safety habits, and work-life balance, along with simple tools that help busy schedules feel more manageable. Strong members create strong service, which creates stronger neighborhoods.

I plan to lead by showing up. Greater Chattanooga Realtors is at its best when we learn and serve together. I encourage our members to attend events, take advantage of our classes, including the free offerings, or visit the association to explore everything available to you. #That'sWhoWeR
