GEOFF RAMSEY INDUCTED INTO NAR RPAC HALL OF FAME

CHATTANOOGA, TN. (May 29, 2020) – Greater Chattanooga REALTORS® recently announced that Realtor member Geoff Ramsey was inducted to the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) Hall of Fame.

Ramsey has been an RPAC Major Investor for seven years, and a President’s Circle Member for six years. Over this time, Ramsey has invested more than $25,000.

“Realtors are advocates for homeowners across the country, and I’m proud to do my part to help protect homeownership for future generations by supporting leaders who do the same,” said Ramsey.

RPAC is the voice of REALTORS® on Capitol Hill. Since 1969, RPAC has been promoting the election of pro-REALTOR® candidates across the United States. The REALTOR® party does not consider political party affiliation, which makes RPAC one of the most bi-partisan PACs in existence. REALTORS® invest voluntarily in RPAC to support political candidates whose philosophies are consistent with and supportive of the concepts of private property rights and the free enterprise system.

Brandi Pearl Thompson, 2020 President of Greater Chattanooga Realtors®, congratulates Mr. Ramsey on this milestone. “Geoff has been a leader in his advocacy and Realtor spirit, and our association is very proud of his achievement,” said Ms. Thompson.

Since 1969, the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) has promoted the election of pro-REALTOR® candidates across the United States. The purpose of RPAC is clear: voluntary contributions made by REALTORS® are used to help elect candidates who understand and support their interests. These are not members’ dues; this is money given freely by REALTORS® in recognition of the importance of the political process. The REALTORS® Political Action Committee and other political fundraising are the keys to protecting and promoting the real estate industry.
