You own computer/location!
On Friday, November 13, the NAR Board of Directors approved a new personal conduct policy addressing discrimination. These changes* are effective immediately and apply to all REALTORS®.
In response to the questions circulating about these changes, we've invited Attorney and REALTOR® Bruce Aydt to provide an overview of the changes, why they were made, and what they do/do not mean. Folllowing his presentation, Bruce will respond to your questions.
*The changes include:
- Changes to the Code of Ethics’ applicability to a REALTOR®’s activities;
- A new Standard of Practice under Article 10 prohibiting discriminatory speech and conduct; and,
- Revisions to the definition of “Public Trust”.
