Keys to Understanding Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion!

DESCRIPTION

Upon completion of this course, you will have an increased knowledge and awareness of cultural and personal biases that may inhibit students from fully embracing diversity and creating a successful multicultural real estate business.

  • You will be able to define diversity, social inclusion and culture and how understanding these terms helps us in everyday life.
  •  You will be able to distinguish between personal and implicit biases and how each can adversely shape our perceptions and behaviors when dealing with clients.
  • You will examine and be able to explain the difference between equity and equality and its effects on our society.
  • You will also be able to explain the importance of mentoring, recruiting and performing meaningful multicultural outreach in their community.
  • The students will review the history of Fair housing in America and the REALTOR’s Role played during that time and today.
  • Discuss the importance of embracing diversity on both a professional and personal level to grow a thriving and inclusive real estate business.
