The THDA "First-Time Homebuyer Class" will cover the THDA mortgage loan programs from a Realtor's perspective. - How does a buyer access money for downpayment, closing costs and/or prepaids? - What THDA changes regarding downpayment assistance will affect my buyer? - How does a buyer obtain a THDA loan? - Can any lender provide THDA mortgages and downpayment assistance? - What are the guidelines for a THDA loan, and who sets those guidelines? - Who is considered a first-time homebuyer? - Does a buyer have to be a first-time homebuyer to use THDA funds? - What is a targeted area? - What special programs are available to help veterans buy a home? - What is Recapture and how will it affect a THDA homeowner, if at all?
