A live internet demonstration on the basic Transaction Desk features will accompany the presentation so students will be able to visualize the process and mechanics of the system and apply them to their own usage.

The TREC Core Course is required of all TN licensees who must complete continuing education to renew their license. This mandatory course is updated every two years to include timely topics determined by the Tennessee Real Estate Commission. The Commercial Core Course provides students with a comprehensive review of several risk reduction topics affecting Tennessee brokers and licensees. The course addresses the most recent changes to the rules and regulations of the Tennessee Real Estate Commission, a variety of legal pitfalls for commercial REALTORS®, agency and ethics issues, as well as common contract problems in commercial practice. Participants are provided with guidelines for limiting liability in daily practice by avoiding common mistakes and properly using attorney approved forms.

This 8 hour course will provide students with a review of several significant issues facing Tennessee brokers and licensees. Students will be provided with practice in solving the kinds of problems that plague daily practice in residential real estate. The course also addresses important legal issues, including agency law and the rules and regulations of the Tennessee Real Estate Commission. The course is intended for Principal Brokers and will count towards the completion of a Core as required for a PB to renew their license. An affiliate or broker may also complete this course as a Core or CE class. The 2 extra hours from a standards 6-hour Core class will count as elective hours. This is a mandatory course for your 16 hour licensing requirement!
